How do I fix a light switch or wires? ?

Breakers will trip on the inside and there are times the handle does not look like it is tripped, but it is. Turn the breaker fully off, then back on. Manufactured homes are two section with a crossover connection under the home. Those can get damaged by rodents which may affect one side of the home. A single switch could go bad but it is highly unlikely that all the switches would go bad at once. That would mean the conductor supplying power to that area is either damaged or disconnected somewhere in the circuit. Electricity is the one part of the home that can kill you. If you don't know the simple issues, call a professional.

I did turn the breaker completely off and back on but I will try that again. I am calling a professional in. My main concern at the moment is if we are safe. I'm hoping that it isn't major issue and it's an easy fix. Thank you.

You might be able to call an electrician and ask for advice on the situation. A lot of times they can walk you through the problem before going over and charging you.

I would call a licensed electrician.

Many times the wiring in a mobile home is a "snap on" type of wiring rather than secured by screws and the wires stripped back. They lose contact quite often. If you don't feel secure in checking the wiring, you will need someone who is an electrician or at least has electrical background to check it. You might be able to find someone who is out of work during this Covid lockdown who would want to make a bit of extra money. I have a nephew that's an electrician and he's been picking up jobs like this during this out of work time due to cut backs.

Only hire a licensed professional. If you don't and something goes amiss, your homeowners insurance will deny the claim.

Turn the switches to the "off" position. Then you will be ok until the electrician arrives.

Call an electrician. It's almost unheard of all switches go bad at once. It seems the power feed going to the switches has disconnected or become damaged. An electrician can trace the wires and locate the problem.

You may need to replace the breaker in the panel. Best to call an electrician if you have any doubt about what to do.
