Today we are making a love sign. I wanted to make bedroom decor and this is perfect for the master bedroom. I love home decor ideas and it's even better when it is easy! You can customize the color, style and word to go with your decor style.

See exactly how I made it in the video above!

Gather you materials.

You will need a plaque, the word love and the I and U are optional.

Here is an example of a project, where I used the same love. Same love, different look! You can find that project here: https://craftklatchwithmona.blogspot.com/2019/02/diy-heart-resin-art-valentines-day.html

Distress the plaque.

Use whatever you can to beat it up.

Paint the plaque.

I used a combo of two different grays, you can work a little white in as well. I then used a dry paper towel wipe off any excess to blend it.

Tada!

Paint the love.

Expect to do multiple coats.

Attach it to the board.

You can glue it or use removable tabs and you can keep changing up the sign! Think holiday or whatever your whim!

Different version, with the addition of an I and U!

Remember, I made this for over our bed, but you can make it for any room in your home! The kitchen might just have the word EAT. The dining room may have ENJOY. The family room may have RELAX or FAMILY. The possibilities are truly endless!
