DIY Sunburst Paper Mirror
Yes! Even though it’s hard to believe, I made this beautiful mirror using posterboard and my cutting machine. Don't worry if you don't have a cutting machine you can cut the pieces by hand, download the PDF file from my blog avantimorocha.com. Follow the step-by-step guide below .
If you don't have a cutting machine skip to 6:24 minute of the video.
Cut all the pieces that you need for the mirror 21 large piece and 21 small pieces.
I cut a circle with a 9” diameter, and I drew another circle with a 7.5” diameter
Before gluing the pieces, I'm going to place the pieces to see if everything fits in place.
Use a glue gun to glue the first row.
All pieces are glue.
For this project, I'm using this mirror, which I got a couple of months ago at Target.
Now I'm going to remove the frame from the mirror using my hairdryer; this helps dissolve the adhesive. The measure of the mirror by itself is 7.5 inches in diameter.
I'm going to take these pieces outside to spraypaint them.
I'm using E-6000 adhesive.
The wood place is going to help me attache the two piece together (Paper design and mirror)
Ensure the hook is attached to the wooden paque.
