Hi Joy. You could make the mirror look like Mercury Glass. First give it a coat of Krylon's Looking Glass spray paint. Then spritz a solution of equal parts water and vinegar. Swirl it around and soak up some of the liquid with paper towels. It would be best if you could put the medicine cabinet on a flat surface if possible. Good luck Joy. Stay healthy and well.
If the medicine cabinet is wood I would paint the frame. I did that to my dated looking cabinets. They were a ugly cheap and fake wood look. I painted them white and they look great.
If you have a specific theme in your bathroom (like beach or coastal) you could glue seashells to the cabinet frame.
Good idea thanks
Hi! I don't know if you want to keep using the mirror, but I thought this was clever. Good luck and stay safe!
You are welcome! Maybe you could post your project?
This is one way you could update it: http://www.thegarciahouse.com/2016/07/21/diy-bathroom-medicine-cabinet-frame/
You’re welcome! Good luck!
Maybe do a mosaic with tiles on the frame?
Here’s how we made over our old medicine cabinet: https://www.frugalfamilytimes.com/2012/08/our-frugal-bathroom-reno-updating-old.html?m=1
Hi Joy: Depending on the way you decorate your bathroom, you can glue shells, pennies, stones, etc., on the rim. Or, even get some molding to glue on, or just paint it. Good luck
I found this info for your project
Hi Joy, I am not sure if you are working with wood or metal, so I will post something for each, hope they help you out,
Paint, Decoupage, Stencil, Sponge, Cover with Contact paper or fabric using Mod podge. Best wishes. If you want a new look for the mirror doors, you could use a coloured tape on the front edge or turn the doors around and use paint on the mirror backs. Turn around the handles too or stick new on front.
Carefully take the glass out clean the inside paint it paint the out side then pot the glass back
