Hi Linda: Are you looking to make one for your yard: Here's what you do:
Promoting the weathering of your rocks will give the rock garden a natural look. Weathered stone looks as if it had always been there. Also, stick to rocks that look the same in texture, color, and form. If you use rocks of similar appearance throughout your rock garden, it will have a more natural look
Hi Linda. There are so many different ways to create a rock garden. From very simple to very elaborate. First figure exactly where you want the rock garden to be. I recommend using spray paint to outline the space. Then pull up the grass. Lay down weed fabric. Put the bigger rocks in place first then fill in with smaller rocks. You can even grow some plants in and around your rocks. Good luck Linda. Stay well.

I think they look best with a bit of color and interest like a fountain or gazing ball or some other feature. Post it when it is completed.
Hi! Literally hundreds if not thousands are online. I especially like the ones that look like a river bed. The best ones have ground cover plants mixed in. Good luck and stay safe!
