how can i save my sunflower seedlings somthing eats the top leaves leaving just the stalk help please
Could be chipmunks or rabbits. Get a piece of chicken run wire, approx. 1/2 x 1/2 inch squares. Cut a piece with wire snips that you can make a circle of about 10-12 inches and wire the ends together to form a column. Put this around a seeding or several seedlings. You can secure it with hooks use to hold down landscaping cloth until the plants get large enough to be on their own or leave on all season. If the flowers are planted close make the wire columns narrower like 4" across.
Hi there Anna, there could be a few things that are chewing away at your sunflower leaves. Perhaps this article will help you figure it out - https://homeguides.sfgate.com/eats-pea-sunflower-seedlings-59608.html

I'd get some caging to put around them until they get bigger.

Rabbits etc. Cover the seedlings and protect them from being eaten by covering them until they are large enough to cope ( tall wire tubes). Hope that helps a bit.
