How do I re-seed my lawn? ?
I have problems with white grubs and because of that there are bare patches in my lawn. I just used Scott's Grub out on the lawn.

I had to do that last year! Once I put down the Grub "stuff" I waited a week or so and after it rained several times I added black dirt/top soil and raked in fresh grass seed. The grass came up beautifully and those bare spots are gone!

We have the same issues here in the South and my husband put down grub killer waited then added soil and planted his grass seed and it worked out well.

For small areas replacing the sod might be an easier option. Seed just doesn't want to grow in some areas.

I'd read the instructions on the Grub out on how long after application you can reseed your lawn. Then get some grass seed and sprinkle over the soil. Cover with straw so that the seed doesn't wash away in rain. Once the grass has grown, then you can rake out the straw.
