Vivian: maybe this will help
Thank you for reply.
You can use fingernail polish to give it the look. If you are going to use it outside, seal it with a clear overcoating.

Hello. If I were doing the project I would suggest using plastic friendly spray paints and then doing the faux finish marbling perhaps with the addition of a sponge and feather.
There’s also the dip method that could be achieved with marbling
Finally the nail polish marbling might be an option.

Is the plastic flower pot going to be indoors or outdoors that might decide what type of approach you choose to use?
You can use spray paint on top of a bucket of water. Spray, dip. done.
You can marbelize your plastic pots by filling a large bin or tub with water. You might want to line it with plastic or use something disposable. Spray what ever color you want your marble to be on the surface o the water and quickly dip the pot into the water and remoe. The spray paint will adhere to the pot. This can be really fun as you never know exactly how the pattern will look. You can also do this with nail polish. Here's better instructions..... https://thediynuts.com/how-to-make-diy-marbled-pots/

Here's an idea:
Shure why not I would paint gray then get a skinny skinny brush and make white lines all over then make darker gray lines then black lines all over
You can paint them using a hydro method. https://youtu.be/zb_yh5c1kck
