What about a Hosta?
Do you have a question about Hostas?
Here's how to grow hostas! Lovely perennials to have in your garden!
Hostas are a hearty plant that like shade. They are perennial, which means they come back year after year. The will also spread and can be divided.
Are you wanting to know how to divide hostas, plant them? Not sure what help you're searching for? I've enjoyed having hostas and they're easy to grove and can be divided to add additional plantings elsewhere in your yard. Nice plants for some color variety.
We have tons of Hostas in our yard. They love shade, but we put them in full sun also and they thrive there as well. They are super hearty and we mix different variations so the leaf patterns are interesting. Best time to plant is fall or spring.
Hostas are fairly low maintenance. One rule to remember, the lighter the color the more shade they need. One good thing is to "feed" them weekly or at least bi-weekly.
Not sure what your question is but here is info on how to grow them.
Every year I divide my Hosta plants and spread them out around the yard. They quickly become big, beautiful plants.
Dessert for deer.
Next time you cut your hair spread it around the hostas. Deer hate it, but birds love it for nests.
Hosta are great in the garden they work well in shady spots, grow fast and put out a white flower- they are perennial but I do not live where deer are much of a problem. they are great in a side of the house garden as well.
Hostas are great plants for a garden. They grow very well
