Unfortunately everything I have read on this says it can't be eradicated with anything but a herbicide :/ https://www.gardeningknowhow.com/plant-problems/weeds/how-to-kill-chickweed-best-way-to-kill-chickweed.htm

Have you tried this homemade weed killer? https://thekitchengarten.com/diy-weed-killer/ Or a torch for weeds?
I did but does not work on chickweed
We tried a natural remedy last year without much success but this year are trying this from Ortho. https://www.ortho.com/en-us/library/your-lawn/chickweed
Hello there,
Pull it up or burn it off. Should not be hard to do..........
We had an invasion of chickweed four years ago and it threatened to take over our yard. Unfortunately, any attempts to eradicate it made the yard look worse. Although I would offer a natural remedy for this; nothing we tried worked except for hiring a professional lawn service.
Sometimes you have to keep at it. I've found with some weeds you really have to dig down to make sure you get the root. Darn weeds grow while we wait for the lawn to green up.
THIS formula works, I've used it, on very stubborn trumpet vines, oregano and mint:
1 gal vinegar (30 % acidity) Horticultural vinegar - shop around can get $20-$25 per gal.
2 cups of Epsom salt
1/4 cup of dawn dish soap (used this much in 1/2 gal. also)
Mix well because the salt takes a while
to dissolve - use in sprayer.
Good for trumpet vine, mint, oregano and
other invasive plants.
I mixed half a batch, might be easier to mix the Epsom salt in approx. 1/4 cup boiling water to
make sure it dissolves easier.
Here's several ideas

It's expensive but bug spray kills it.
Uggh chickweed. We had so much in our garden, it was awful. I just spent time every several days ripping it out. I waited until it had grown a bit, much easier to pull on it. And get it out before it flowers!
