Which glue for cabinet?
Installing new drawer sockets in old kitchen cabinet. Want to install new wood over old screw hole for better purchase. Have a good piece of wood but need to know which glue to use to bond tightly.
You just need a good quality wood glue. You dont need any fancy. To get a good bond you do need to clamp the wood while it is drying.
I think wood glue would work. I use Gorilla wood glue.
Use Tight Bond(blue bottle) Premium Wood Glue. It says STRONGER THAN WOOD on fine print underneath title. That's the Tight Bond bottle you want. Shorter working time so make sure you are ready to glue up when you put it on. Hubby woodworker prefers this wood glue;)
Sure! Have fun with your project:)
Goriilla glue and a clamp until it's dry!
Use wood glue. There are several types available - check in your local hardware/home improvement store.
For wood, we always use the tan Elmer's Wood glue. Make sure to hold in place until it is completely dry.
Wood glue or construction adhesive will do the job. :)
Hello! The wood glues are excellent I particularly like titebond.
Hello Victoria,
Wood Glue, would be my choice. Best wishes.
You could just fill the holes with wood putty. Drill new holes for the new hardware. What you are doing is a patch job that may not look good.
Wood glue or a small nail.
