I’ve been on the embroidery band wagon for a while now and don’t mind a bit. I love embroidery because i can do it anywhere and I’m always dragging my embroidery stuff with me. There is something extremely relaxing about it and it definitely helps keep me sane when my children are trying to drive me crazy. This DIY Embroidered Pom Pom Sign is so cute and a fun way to add a pop of color to your home for summer.

I used fun, bright colors of fabric and embroidery floss for this project.

Place your fabric in an embroidery hoop and write or trace your letters.

I outlined all my letters and then filled in with different colors of embroidery floss.

Trim the access fabric and glue a piece of fabric to the back. Tie a ribbon to the top for hanging and then add a couple pom poms.

Now hang your sign and enjoy! I'm going to make a No Soliciting sign for a friend of mine in the same style. I love embroidery because it's so easy, fun and a great way to express yourself. Plus... it's an inexpensive craft/hobby and that's always a plus in my book.
