Hi Debbie. Could you hang a curtain over it? Even a light gauzy one would give you some privacy but allow the air and breeze to flow through.
A solar screen is about as close as you can come but many people believe such a product exists because they have screens on the windows of their house which make it difficult to see inside during the day. This is because of differential lighting. When the sun is shining bright and it is comparatively dark inside the house you can’t see inside, conversely if it was dark outside and you had a light on inside the house everyone would be able to see inside because it is brighter. Solar screens, exaggerates the effect of the lighting.
Hi Debbie. We planted arbor vitae's along the perimeter of our back yard. They grow very tall and slim. They gave us the privacy we were looking for. Perhaps you could plant a few on the outside of your screen window. Good luck Debbie. Be well.
Is the an overhang above the window? Is the winding close to a corner? How large is the window where you want more privacy?
Please post a picture of the window showing where it is on the wall, so that we can see what sort of space you have to work with.
If the window has glass, you can add film on the window. Planters with flowers can hide view but still allow air flow.
Hang bamboo fencing from Home Depot in the nursery department. Not expensive and you can use large bamboo stakes and make blinds if you want. That is what I did and the air gets through too.
You could paint it which would make it difficult, if not impossible, to see through.
you say screen window does it also have glass in it? you could put up a vinyl blind to cover the screen for privacy they sell them everywhere including walmart- inexpensive and easy to clean
You could add tall plants
