How do I keep stray cats off my patio that's has carpet?

    Sprinkle cayenne pepper or chili powder. One sniff and they'll remember. may need to reapply

    Sprinkle pepper I would use red pepper

    try cinnamon. You might have more mice if you get rid of the cats

      Thanks for all the suggestions. The mice gift from the cat was dead. I have not feed the cat. I can not have a dog here.

    Quit feeding them. and take down your bird feeders. I used some stuff called "bitter YUCK" ( made by NaturVet ) on my Christmas tree to keep my new kitten from chewing on the lower branches. Maybe if you spray it on the edges of the deck they will step on it, when they lick their paws, they will decide your deck isn't the place to hang out.

      I doubt she would be feeding them if she didn't want them there in the first place.

    Lemongrass, peppermint, lavender, or citronella oil can be used in place of the apple cider vinegar. All four of these essential oils make an excellent cat repellent. To substitute one of the essential oils mix 1 part oil to 3 parts water.

    Scrub your porch of previous cat spray or it will just attract more bad behavior.
