How can you make a chair planter out of an Adirondack chair?
I would cut wood to go around the perimeter of the seat, line it with landscape fabric/plastic, and plant my flowers there.
I’d get a plastic pot a bit smaller than the seat. Then cut the same size hole out of the seat and put the pot in it. Maybe put something under the pot to take the pressure off the seat. Plant the pot and enjoy!
Here's two ideas for you! What a fun project to try!
You could cut a hole in the seat and put a plant there. Additionally, small pots could be hung on the back like you can do on a fence.
Are you using the wood from the chair or adding a planter to a chair?
Adding the planter to an existing chair...
