Used outside latex paint, let it cure for 3 weeks then sealed with clear wax.
Application of Transfers to Bathroom Cabinets
I have recently painted my bathroom counter white. Wanted to get away from builder grade looking home. Now the cabinets needed updating.
Used primer x 2 coats, a coat of white, than a touch of teal around perimeter of each door and drawer.
This is the transfer I bought about 6 months ago. Had no ideas at the time 😁.
I decided to cut the transfer to space it out along the cabinets.
there is a grid on the back if you require straight lines.
unable to photograph the process as both hands were busy. Line up the transfer where you want it, use tape to help hold positions. Use the plastic tool to rub the transfer onto painted surface. (Only use enough tape along top as you will be lifting up the transfer to see if you got all of it into the right position.)
I used a dark brown wax to seal and age. You just apply a coat with a soft cloth, wait to dry then buff with a lint free cloth.
Without the dark wax.
Difference before and after dark wax
After applying wax to all.
Added glass knobs, happy with the end result
