Cee: salt works very well!
This might help - it worked for us! https://www.frugalfamilytimes.com/2012/09/how-to-make-weed-free-brick-driveway.html?m=1
Try to pull them first, get as much root as possible. You could then try salt but judicious, salt kills everything around it.
Salt water will do the trick but you CANNOT get it on any surrounding vegetation or it will kill it as well.
White vinegar or boiling water!
I use either boiling water (in a tea kettle) or white vinegar.
1 gallon of vinegar, 1 cup of salt & 1 tablespoon of Dawn. Combine all in sprayer and apply in the morning on a sunny day. This will help cook the weeds and kill them.
Hello Cee, hope this link helps you out,

I use boiling water for those but here is a post that might help - https://chascrazycreations.com/save-your-garden-sprays-2/
Hi ! Take a spray bottle till it a quarter of the way with Epsom salt , then pour white vinegar to fill it up 1/2 way . Then shake it well to dissolve the salt , then fill it most of the way up with more vinegar ( it's easier to shake and dissolve the salt when there is less vinegar ! ) then put a good squirt of dish soap in it close and shake it . I
I like to do this early on a day that will be warm and sunny , by the afternoon the weeds should be dead and dried up and easy to pull out of sweep up . 😊
You can sprinkle a LOT of table salt in the crack. Salt will make it so tnothing will grow back.
There are several here on HT:
I just soak the area and pull the next day...I need the exercise! LOL
This is not an exact science – approximate measures are totally fine 1 gallon white vinegar and cup Epsom salts and ¼ cup liquid dish soap Combine ingredients in spray bottle and treat weeds at the hottest time of day for best results.
