Hi Sharon, To repair scratches on leather furniture, use a cotton swab to rub olive oil, baby oil, or saddle oil into the scratch. Then, let the oil dry for an hour before wiping it off. If the scratch is still there, try again and let the oil sit for longer. Hope this helps you out.
I've seen videos on the brand of leather products I use on YouTube that they repair cat scratches.... I use their analine dyes and cleaners on my clients leather sofas. I also fool my cat by putting clear contact paper on the ends where they like to scratch until they quit..... I also put various scratching posts on the sofa ends until they liked that better cause the contact paper was too slick for them.
Hello. Not having a picture posted here it’s hard to tell the degree of your damages. There are certain aerosol products even a specific pledge furniture cleaner that you can use leather. I find sometimes that’s just a buffing of such a polish takes away my dog nail scratches on my leather furniture.
If there are significant repair needed they are leather touchup products also available. My son purchased purchased his on Amazon.
To fix our scratches on leather we used shoe polish made for leather and used the applicator on it. You cannot see them at all now. I used the bottles with the applicator at the top. It was an easy, inexpensive fix!
