How do you paint a stained bathroom sink?
What is it made of?
What is it made of and do you know what the stain is?
Here is how one person did it Harriet.
you can buy a bathtub paint kit - that seems like it would work for sinks.
This may help:
You could try spray painting it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9wWRUpL0AgI
Just realize paint will only be a temporary fix. It will peel and be a big mess once it's scratched.
I used a tub and tile kit on ours, and it held up amazing!
I agree with Kelly. If the sink is an over-mounted sink with a rim, (not like the integrated sink and counter in the photo above) and if it is badly stained, it may be more cost effective to simply purchase a new replacement. A brand new sink will certainly have more longevity than a painted old one.
You can refinish it with this product: https://amzn.to/2Mq50gb

Depending on the size of the sink, it would probably be best to just purchase a new one. An overmount in a square shape will would look great. And they are not that expensive. If it is an undermount, you need brackets and some DIY skills but it can be done.
Harriet: Home depot sells countertops with the built in sinks or without. I actually went to Habitat for Humanity and got 2 granite countertops. A builder donated new countertops, I was thrilled. One was 66 inches, the other was 52 inches. I bought sinks in Lowes on sale and 2 bathrooms cost me $150.
