In terms of your horse, maybe check with your veterinarian for recommendations on keeping flies away.

We don't know what the spray is you are referring to. There is a spray specifically made for horses. Check with your local veterinarian or Equine supply store.

Hi Jonna, I am not sure which recipe you are looking at, but here is one for you to try,
Hi Jonna: Vinegar can either be used as a fly spray to keep flies away. I also made a spray by boiling water and a bunch of mint leaves, like lemon mint, spearmint, etc., then spraying my horses with it. Flies and mosquitoes don't care for mint. Good luck
