Hi Teri. Now is the perfect time to clean your oven racks. Take the racks outside. Place them in a large garbage bag. Sprinkle them generously with baking soda. Put white vinegar in a spray bottle and spray on top of the baking soda. Close the bag and let it sit for a couple hours. Then take them out of the bag and hose off. Dry with a clean cloth and return them to the oven. Throw the garbage bag away. Good luck Teri. Hoping all is well with you.
Hello. After doing lots of research I followed one of the instructions I found online. If weather is permitting I’ll take them outside put the racks in a trash bag and then spray them down with aerosol oven cleaner leave it overnight. Come back the next day hose them off —if necessary scrub off remaining debris and they are good to go.
I put them in my bathtub and spray with oven cleaner. Let sit overnight and wash off in the morning. If you are having hot weather, you can do this outside make sure bag is sealed and let sit in sun for several hours or overnight and then hose off.
