We have kitchen cabinets which the previous owner has painted over. How to remove the paint not using sandpaper but something like to spray on or others.

You can use a gel stripper to remove the paint. It can be applied with a brush and then the paint and stripper can be cleaned off with a putty knife/spatula once the chemical process is complete. At some point you will have to do some sanding to make the wood smooth and ready to prime and paint. I am assuming you want to get back to the wood. Using chemical strippers is your best option. Be aware that it is a huge and messy job and will take lots of time to complete.

Hi Peggy, Thanks for the info. I followed the video and used it. BUT hinges are a pain in the .... (you know where) and a lot of after work must be done to get it clear. Thanks for the tip. Varner
