Sure, as long as it has been disinfected already, and rinsed well, go for it! Most dogs are capable of eating stuff right off the ground.

As long as it is clean. disinfected, and the dog can get it's mouth down into it, it should serve the purpose.

  • You can use what ever you want as long as it is clean. Good ideas for a giggle from visitors. 🤣🤣

The plastic used is likely not safe to use for foods and eating from. Although you can clean it, doesn't mean it's safe to use for feeding. Stainless steel is recommended and you can often find them at the dollar store.

  • I wouldn't. I'm not sure this is food-safe.

🤢 I’m sorry but if you wouldn’t eat out of it , why even think of feeding your beautiful baby out of it ?? My boys have stainless steel I bought at $General for almost nothing , water bowl is hammered tin from Farm store ! Better to be safe than sorry, veterinarians are not cheap if baby gets sick 😢😢😢😢

Could definitely use as the food bowl holder/stand to hold your stainless steel removable bowl

Please don't use it. A dog's nose is 40 times stronger than a human's and can detect odors for years---so even if you wash the potty, a dog will smell it. If you want to recycle, use it to hold a plant.

I would not. The type of plastic used would not be food safe. No amount of cleaning would make it safe for eating or drinking out of. If you wouldn't eat from it don't use for your pets

I don't see why you couldn't. You could dress it up a bit and add some pretty contact paper or cut some out in the shape of a dog's foot or bone.

The plastic looks scratched, I wouldn't use it for a dog bowl even if it were disinfected. You would not want your dog to get sick.

  • Patty Patty on Jun 09, 2020

No. Dogs should have metal bowls. No bacteria!

Hello. I would suggest using a dedicated pet safe stainless steel or clay pottery dog dish that you know is safe for food and eating. Without chemicals dyes or unsafe plastic.

I would opt for a stainless steel dog dish and pass on this. You do not know if this plastic is food safe.

Why not any thing could be used as long as it’s clean

Dog bowls are cheap enough to buy a new one. That one is too deep anyway and dog's collar will hit the edge. I certainly wouldn't want to eat buy sticking my head in a barrel to get food. Besides it's gross.

Hi, Not unless you would be prepared to eat from it! Netter to Bin or Spray paint and use as a Planter,
