How to repair a broken spring in a window shade
Is it possible to repair a broken spring in a window shade? We think it is actually broken, not just loose. So far, any fixes I have seen are just for winding to increase or decrease the tension.

How old is the roller shade?
Replace it. No way to repair it or replace the spring
JoAnne Fabric used to sell kits to make your own, custom roller shades, using fabric of your choice.
You could just buy the roller at Home Depot take the shade off put it on the new roller and staple it on then roll it up
Buy a new one, they’re not expensive.
If you’ve a Menards nearby, they’ve several choices from cheap to “wow that’s a roller shade?” and they’ll cut it to size for free.
