Pour a handful of baking soda down the drain, then add a half cup of vinegar. Let it work for 15-20 minutes and then pour boiling water down it.
Pour ½ cup baking soda then ½ cup white vinegar in the drain and cover, letting sit for 20 minutes. Boil water, remove cover, and pour water down the drain. You may have to repeat the process.
If those ideas don't work try some kind of enzyme drain cleaner. There is likely rotted food stuck in the pipes that needs to be sloughed off or eliminiated.
First, do the bakingvsoda and vinegar clean on it. Then tons of hot water. Then, cut a lemon in pieces and run it through your garbage disposal.
