White vinegar water and salt in a spray bottle. shake well.
Boiling water is also effective. But, anything you kill the weeds with is also going to kill your grass. Digging them up is more labor intensive, but, won't kill the grass. Good luck and stay safe!
Hi Perminder. We use the Scott's line of fertilizer on our lawn. My husband uses a walk-behind spreader to lay it out but you could also use a hand-help spreader too. We only use it on the front yard because we have dogs. Lawn looks green and lush. We are very happy with the Scott's Program. Good luck Perminder. I'm hoping all is well with you.
Do not pour either vinegar or salt on your lawn, as both are corrosive.
This may be a suggested weed killer if the weeds are growing in between concrete pavers, or through cracks in a driveway, but it is not a good remedy for lawn, as grass is a live growing plant.
Selective herbicides ( wont harm grass) can be purchased at most retail venues —if you do not wish to use commercial chemicals preparations -there are diy homemade alternatives.

DIY weed killers are easy for places such as in sidewalk cracks, etc. but when you want to kill weeds that are with your beautiful grass I think it's time to go commercial. There are grass fertilizers that have weed killers included such as the brand PREEN.
1 gallon white vinegar and 1 cup Epsom salts and ¼ cup liquid dish soap Combine ingredients in spray bottle and treat weeds at the hottest time of day for best results.
Hi Perminder: What I use is Vigoro Weed and Feed. Around here, the only place I can find it is at Home Depot. It's just about the only thing I can find that kills Creeping Charlie. But, any good weed and feed product should be o.k. Just follow the directions on the bag and you should be weed free in no time :) Good luck
Your best bet is to pull them by hand
Syngenta Tenacity works well on post emergent crabgrass and other more difficult weeds.
