Clare: maybe this will help
Here is one idea and easy to do
Hi! What surface are you covering?
Lowe's has a great video to get you started:
This information may help:
It depends on what surface you have there now, but here's a video to show you the basics. The bathroom is tricky because of the water and humidity. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JYais38h5Qk
Hi Clare. You should use adhesive to put the tiles on the wall. Once that's dry, you add grout. Remember, sanded grout is for floors and unsanded grout is used on walls. Once the grout is dry, start removing the excess with a large sponge. Continue until excess is gone. Next day shine it all up with a soft cloth. Good luck Clare.
Use Ceramic tile adhesive and don't forget to grout them next day. good luck!
I would use a construction adhesive.
I would use Loctite's Power Grab. I've had great success with it indoors & outdoors, water won't bother it. It does a long setting time so keep that in mind.
You can buy peel and stick tile sheets
You could use peel and stick tiles or use grout
