How to fix hot glue gun?
my glue gun is in the large size from AdTech dual temp. I can be gluing away and all of a sudden the glue starts coming out the back end. Could anyone tell me why it's doing this and how or if I can fix it?

Hello Ellen,
It might be because the glue is melting quicker than you can use it....Therefore it is looking for a way out!! Best wishes
Glue sits on for too long with out use. I have had to open mine up to clean it out.
Is it new or older? I had a glue gun that I used for years and it started leaking hot glue (from the front) when I didn't use it. I ended up just buying a new one since they aren't too expensive and I didn't have to deal with that problem anymore.
I would call or contact online the mfg of the glue gun. Sometimes they will replace them for free if there is an issue. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=28ZRkpD3QcM
Sometimes if there's a clog at the nozzle or in the chamber somewhere it will cause the melted glue to leak from other areas.
Hello. Is there a manufactures name on your gun on that you can contact for advice? This sounds particularly dangerous to cause burns I would consider consider replacing if you cannot find any information from the manufacturer
I would contact the manufacturer about this. It may be that the glue is being pushed too hard or melting further in but I’m not a glue gun expert — try the manufacturer.
Hi, Is your glue gun Gunged up with solidified glue inside the nozzle and the only way out is through the back end?
I don't know if it is gunged up. I am going to take it apart and look. Thank you for the help.
