How?
I'm 60+ and want to create a meditation garden. I have the tools to cut the area down but looking for the easiest n not too expensive way to make a path down a slow slope...on the top area I want to create a type platform for sitting on a meditation rug...its under a tree so I will be putting shade plants on either side of the pathway...also suggestions for decorating it for meditation as well...I've loved everyone's ideas n help in the past...so thank you in advance

Large thick wood slices embedded into the slope a bit might make nice lighter weight "stepping stones". Or even wood planks!
A bit more work, but I have also made inexpensive stepping stones out of quick Crete. I just poured into irregular stepping stone shaped molds made of taped cardboard strips.

I would use the square pavers that are 12 x 12 as stepping stones for your slope. For decor, I think Boho or Japanese. I love Boho myself (funny, too, I am 66 and never was a Hippie back in the day). I like fragrant shade plants, candles in lanterns. Cool, calming colors in blues, greens, cream.

You need a bluetooth speaker so you can bring out your phone and play meditation sounds - like waterfalls or rainfall or birds or waves.

It might be nice to hang DIY wind chimes from your tree. This is how I made some: https://momhomeguide.com/diy-beaded-wind-chime-craft-wood/
I agree that boho or Japanese decor would be pretty.
Hello Janerose,
You could lay a membrane and then lay gravel or you could use a binding gravel and a roller, roe use stepping stones with gravel in between the stones. You could use bark or rubber chippings
For meditation - Water feature, Gazing balls, Wind chimes, Piece of Sculpture etc. or Flowers.
i like the idea of the stepping stones in gravel...TY
