Hello I have a vegetable garden and this year I planted cucumbers ,tomatoes and peppers.

Not sure if the rabbits or chipmunks or birds are eating my cucumbers and peppers, any idea if there is something NOT HARMFUL I can use to keep the critters away without having to fence ?
