OK, what's wrong with your USB cord?
Depending on the length of the USB cord, and how or where it is being used, it may be more cost effective to purchase a new replacement one, rather than spending time and money trying to fix it.
They aren't very expensive to replace, but, my most common problem has been from the connection between the plug and cord failing. Assuming that is your problem, I have taped that connection as soon as I notice it separating. Usually lasts a long time with that minor repair. Good luck and stay safe!

If there are loose wires or you need to keep playing with it to get it to work, the best bet is to replace it.
If it is just loose plastic you can use insulation tape. If it is the wires I would replace it.
They are cheap. Replace it.

Hello. As inexpensive as these cords are I would suggest replacing it. The risk of an imperfect repair damaging your equipment would be far more costly.
Lorraine: you may be surprised how inexpensive they are!

That’s tuff because if all the wires are not touching it won’t work so I recommend buying another cord.
