How do I make an organic mosquito bug repellant or killer.
One chemical free way to keep bugs away from you when your sitting outdoors is just to fun a fan nearby. They can’t fly in all that wind and they leave you alone!

I use natural bug repellant that I buy, but you can make your own. Here is a Hometalk recipe using essential oils:
citronella candles also work great! and surround your area with Tiki torches!

Homemade Peppermint Oil Mosquito & Bug Repellent
1. Fill a spray bottle with 8 oz. of water. ...
2. Add 6 drops of peppermint oil to the bottle.
3. Add 6 drops of tea tree oil to the bottle.
4. Add 9 drops of eucalyptus oil to the bottle.
5. Screw on the top of the spray bottle and shake well.
6. Spray the oil mixture onto your body and clothes before going out.
Try to get rid of any standing water in your yard.
Dynatrap makes a bug catcher that attracts them then sucks them into a container they can't get out of. No more sweeping up your porch like the old zappers make you do.
If you are asking on how to prevent mosquito bites, use Avon Original Skin So Soft, just rub it on your skin.

If you don't find one that works, I would highly recommend purchasing a dyna-trap. I bought one 3 years ago and have ran it every summer. Now, I don't have any flying insects around my front porch or front yard.
