Grab a yarn bundle and any one of the rope cutouts. Leave an inch of the rope intact from either end and then tie the yarn around the rope tightly.

Continue to wrap leaving an inch on either side of the arch. Take a piece of the felt and cut an arch shape out of the felt from its bottom side.

All the resources shown for this project cost a lot more than the $10 you listed as the cost of the project.

What exactly did you purchase for $10 and how many rainbows were you able to make?

reply to Dee: It is not macrame even with a knot on each end of each rope piece. Those knots do not make it macrame. You need lots more knots!

Adorable! Reminds me of crafts I did as a kid...long ago!!! What do you use the needle for and do you have a pattern template for the felt piece to attach the rainbow! I think these might be cute fridge magnets if you stick a magnet on the back!
