From Trash to Treasure Halloween Chandelier

in our city, they do curbside pick up once a month so I was driving along and saw this chandelier and yelled "Stop the car!" I knew I had to have it!

It was perfect for this DIY fun Halloween decoration. If you know me I love decorating and Halloween is one of my favorites! See what I did below.

This how I found it. I removed the bulbs and washed it up to get rid of any dirt and dust.

Next, I grabbed my old Mardi Gras beads that I had picked up at the dollar store.

I then hung them on the chandelier. I put one on each metal loop.

On the top I used little nails in the cracks to hold them in and used super glue to secure them.

I then painted the whole thing with Rustoleum flat matte blac. I used a piece of wood to hang it up to make it easier to paint it all. Make sure you coat the beads well in the black paint.

I then added my old smoky light bulbs back on to the chandelier.

Here it is all finished.

This will be a Halloween hit! I might even add some cobwebs and a crow. I love this project and it's the best when I have all the supplies on hand already so it didn’t cost me a penny. What a great find and just at the right time of year too!

Happy Halloween!

So frighteningly adorable! Where will you hang it? I wish I had a tree or front porch to put mine on, I don’t though. I did have the dollar tree pillar battery candles in mine too.

Hey that’s a great idea for Halloween! Hey I wonder if you could substitute wooden beads for Mardi Gras beads to update a chandelier? 🤔

Maybe add some of those cheap lil black plastic spiders?
