Hi Lynn, hope this video helps you out,
Hi Lynn. I'm Cindy. A good way to cover your patio cushions is to take the current cover off and use it as a pattern. Be sure to leave a couple inches on all sides to serve as a seam allowance. Also keep dry fitting the new cover. That way you would be able to catch any mistakes right away. Good luck Lynn.
Hi Lynn, can you provide a little more info? Is the fabric ripped or moldy or are you looking to completely replace/remake them?
Hello. Pillowcases might be an easy option.
This is a Hometalk post cheat. https://www.hometalk.com/43283724/how-i-cheat-when-i-cover-my-patio-cushions
First, be sure to use outdoor fabric. Take apart one of the cushions and use the pieces as patterns for your new covers.
You can reupholster or paint them
Here's several ways
This method forms a pocket you put the pillow into:
if the patio cushion fabric is in good shape but you just hate the fabric, you can always use an outdoor fabric spray paint:
Just make sure you scrub the cushions really well with a cleaner and let dry in the sun first before painting.
I think I would do that first before upholstering them or making a slipcover. If you are dying to make the slipcover, take the cover off and seam rip every seam so you can use each piece as a pattern. Mark and label...so you know how everything goes back and can be sewn together again in the correct way. check out my posts.

You can make your own with waterproof fabric. Take apart the ones you have and use them as a pattern. If they are not too damaged you can paint them. There is a paint with a chalk base called Fusion Mineral Paint and it works well on fabric.
