Wall air conditioner cover disguise

How about a 2-3 sided trellis, grow some pretty vine flowers on it or plant tall grasses in planter boxes on the ground.

Are you trying to disguise it on the inside or out? Inside you could try sheer drapes.

That's a tough one, Nancy, since you don't want anything hanging over the unit when it's on. I think the best way to do it is to hang a projection rod on the window...one that sticks out further than the unit. Then hang a long curtain panel on it and tie it back when the until is in use and let it cover it, when it's off. You can drape it in a way so the fabric covers the top part of the window that isn't housing the ac. Or there are custom solutions, blinds that will fit around it.

Actually you do not want to block the flow of the air conditioner, it will cause a lot of condensation. If you really want to hide it just a bit get sheer curtains, which would be light weight and blow away when in use.
