Carpenter or plumber?

I am remodeling my kitchen. I want to replace my traditional double bowl drop in stainless steel sink. I am wanting to get the Josephine model sink by Sinkology. It is a drop in, single bowl farmhouse style sink. I know there will need to be cabinetry adjustments ... so, my question is am I better off to get a carpenter or a plumber to do this installation!!?!??!?! I know the best solution is someone who is good at what they do and can do both aspects of the installation, but I am concerned that the sink be supported well in the cabinet ... plumbing will be a matter of possibly changing the height of the pipes as well as converting a two drain from one drain. Thanks for any suggestions/insights/opinions.

You may be able to find a contractor who is good at both! Neither job is very challenging. But you may need a new countertop for this new sink - or is it the exact same size?

Hi! My contractor has a team of tradesmen who work together on issues like that. You may need both a plumber and a carpenter. Check around for a reliable contractor via Yelp or something like Angie's List.

I would get a carpenter and make sure he can do the slight plumbing adjustments. Many of the "handyman" type would be able to take care of everything. Just make sure to check references. Perhaps use Angie's list.

I think that the best solution would be to find a specialist who is good at being a plumber and carpenter at once. In general, in my opinion a lot of carpenters can be great plumbers, but not all of them. Calling two at once in my opinion will be very expensive so I can advise you to find a processional plumber who can help you with everything at once. I cannot definitely advise such a professional, but I can definitely advise you a very good and high-quality water repair Vallejo service. This service is ready to solve any of your problems with sewerage or Plumbing. But again, they don't do the Carpenter job, only the plumber job. I think that such a service will come in handy anyway.
