How to mix quickrete?
I make memorials for dogs. The plastic molds I use are about 10" diameter and about half an inch thick. I have made a bunch and they are fine. But lately, I have such a problem when the cement comes out of the mold. It is full of tiny air holes. I bounce the molds off a hard service several times trying to get rid of the holes, but it is not working. Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong and give me the ratio of cement and water? The bag tells how much water to use for the entire bag, but I'm only using a small portion of the bag. Thank you

Jackie: you probably should "do the math". -- take the entire weight of the bag... and then divide into smaller portions... then take the amount of water recommended for the bag aand divide into same number of portions. You should then know the correct ratio. ...so next time, you can measure out the dry ingredients and add the proper amount of water.

I think it's best to just eyeball the water and get it to the right consistency, but you could also weigh it.
