I am wondering if it needs a finishing product . Someone did a beautiful umbrella redo and I wondered what she put on top of her paint design .

I used outdoor acrylic from Michaels .
If you use outdoor paint, it should be ok

I have used cheap walmart paint and fabric paint both. For something like an outdoor umbrella walmart paint is fine since you don't really care if it becomes stiff.
The fabric paint doesn't seem to cover as well. Almost appears more translucent then regular spray paint.
