Need that piece to finish up that shelf or that space in the wall? This is an easy, fun, simple way to add a little art in your home.

Supplies

You will need a picture frame,a black thin tip marker

pencil, eraser and paper of your choice.

Step 2

This is all free hand and no rhyme or reason to it. For this one we are going to draw lines and keep them continuous or break them up! Either way will work. For this one it is a stem and some off branches!

Step three

Now that you have your rough drawing it’s time to go over it with your permanent marker. It doesn’t have to be perfect just try to stay within the same lines you drew!

Step 4

Now that you have traced it with your marker, erase the pencil lines and get your frame ready!

Done

And here you go, all framed in and a simple piece of art for your home!! You can definitely do more like this and add three in a row or something else fun! These are great as an addition to a picture ledge or gallery wall as well!

Thank you for the idea. Last year I had a go with my art group, they all enjoyed the idea and had a great time. Happy Tuesday.

I hope all the English majors can do as well with your great line drawing clues.
