I have not seen that, but here is what I would do. make your frames and put slots in the back. The "L" brackets can be inserted into the slots and held in place with super glue. Ensure the distance from the back of the boards to the back of the bracket is the same for all. You will need at least 4 "L" brackets to the frame is parallel to the wall. Screws or nails can be placed level in the wall and the holes of the top brackets can fit over the screws/nails to hang the frame. You wouldn't need any lower nails. I would paint the "L" brackets to match the wall color so they disappear. An alternative to putting the brackets into a slot would be to screw them onto the top of the frame.
Hi Ava. If you ever want to revisit an old project, click on the little blue house at the top of this page, left-hand corner. Boxes will drop down according to categories. You can scan thru projects there but, if you can't find the one you're looking for, you can use the search bar. Just put one or two key words in the search bar for better results. Good luck Ava.

Hello I don’t remember saving that post. I tend to get my frames from thrift stores garage sales for consignment shops.

Hello,
Check out the Project at the top of the Home page.
Keep in mind that in order to hold glass/canvas in adequately, a picture frame must have all four corner angles squared off properly.
Old fence boards are not going to be level in length or depth and are most likely going to be warped.
Even if you have access to all the requisite tools, it may be very difficult to try to get the frame to hold together so that it hangs flat.
