Filling Chased Cables
Here's when I needed to fill the wall after some chased cables.

After having some electric cables installed, I was left with a patch to fill.
Above, I ensured the electrics with switched off.
Then using masonry nails, I carefully nailed plastic conduit around the cables to the brickwork.
I scrunched up tissue towards the bottom, inside the electric cupboard below to catch any slight drips as I then brushed over the brickwork with a PVA solution.
I left to dry and filled with mixed plaster and left to dry again and sanded any bumps.
I repeated the PVA solution again.
Then to completely blend in with the wall, I applied ready mixed skim on over the plaster, but lightly smoothing over with a Vinyl Smoother tool.
Once dry and the scrunched tissue is removed from the electrical box, it was safe to put the electrics back on.
It also helped having a bright light shining on my work to ensure I hadn't missed anything.
And at this point, I could use basic fine wall filler to make any absolute final touches.
I then pained my wall with a watered down coat (AKA mist coat) of Dulux wall paint, which you can paint with your desired colour.

I bought the same covers for my cordage and the instructions specifically say not to be used inside a wall. So idk. But you did a great job of covering it all up!
