Straw or shredded paper will be fine or sawdust or wood chips!
Hi Heidi, we tried all kinds of beds for our Guinea Pig Alley, but she loves her shredded news paper the best. You can also take an old sweater and cut it up for yours to snuggle under if it's chilly. Just hem the edges so they don't fray when they go into the wash.
