Garden Question,Mold?

There is such a thing called "Spruce Decline". I've attached a link about it. I would contact a local nursery or arborist in your area about your tree.

It may be lichens and not mold you see - here is info for you to help your spruce. Also, you could go to a local nursery and take photos and ask them what it is and how to treat.

Has the green mold done anything to the spruce & is this what it looks like?

If so, the above link might help you with identification of what is going on. Take a picture of it to your local nursery, or maybe a sample of it so they can help you.

Hello. Posting a picture might be helpful. Appropriate identification may be needed things like Lichens are very helpful to the environment and should not be discouraged
