Well, I had this temporary table in the garage. It was just to put an umbrella in to do some outdoor work. I wanted to build a potting table....so I decided to redo it. I sold this in Oct 2022 for $175. Had to make room in garage for next project. My daughter was not happy that I sold it.

This wasn’t square, level or anything good

There were screws I couldn’t remove etc. but I had to keep the top on it. I used it once for epoxy.....and we know how that is.

I have never done tiling work

With the leftover tile from bathroom remodel, I wanted to play

No tile saw

I had to make whatever I had fit. No...I didn’t use spacers. This is a wing it job.

Dog eared Fence boards.

I bought 6 at Lowe’s. They were a little over $2 each.

Figuring out what scraps I can use

I had to use a lot of different woods to support window

Spaces on bottom shelf are a little too far apart

But I didn’t want to cut a board I half. So this is what I did.

Do you see all the different scraps?

I even have some quarter round do cover up a gap.

Sorry I couldn’t get these in order

I forgot that I had to build a rim to hold the tiles.

Wondering what to do about the hole

So I left it. Haha

Set tiles

It was fun. But I actually didn’t know I needed a float to do the grout.

Decided to add a shelf

I didn’t have long enough wood, so I just made some corner supports.

Cut the treated dog ear fencing

Used lower part for shelves

Added support to upper fencing near window

Added some wood to window front- support

Me using a lot of scraps

Setting and deciding how to make it fit

You know there isn’t a recipe on the bags

I had to watch videos. Then when someone said....pancake consistency...I was ready

Yep

Cooking up a storm

Grouted with a putty knife

Dont do that..,,get a float

Getting there

All done!!

I was so glad that I finally completed this today.

I had some castors in the garage and I drilled holes In legs early on so I could roll table around. It’s a little taller than I wanted, but it’s also a creation that I will make work and treasure.

Another pic completed

Looks great! If it is too tall, could you just trim a few inches off each leg? (Although suspect flipping it is tricky with the weight. )
