I want to hang my daughter’s deerskin on the wall but I’m not sure how without causing damage to the hide.
What about using those really strong command adhesive strips?
Hi! maybe this will help
If the wall is soft such as plasterboard or fibreboard then the easiest and simplest way to hang your cowhide would be to use thin small headed nails or staples – preferably dispensed using a powered staple gun.
Or use these clips to hang it: https://rstyle.me/+QRBHuPD4BAQyRGIwv1lO4A
If it was cleaned and attached to felt/fabric, you could sew rings on it and hang it from them. My Dad did that with a bearskin. If not, you could try Velcro or Command Strips.
There is good information here:
Hello MJ, here are a few ideas you can try, hope they help you out,
the one with the rod looks the easiest and the most tastefuul to me.
I found this online: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CqC8_S0ZuxY
here is another answer https://www.amazon.com/HANGING-ANIMAL-GRIPPERS-HANGERS-LINKERS/dp/B07569PWK1
you could always hang a curtain rod and hang it over that
Thank you-I’ll try that!
There are a couple in here:
How about cuting a shrub or tree branch and adhering to the wall, then hanging the deer skin over it?
Hello! Thats a Great question. I might suggest calling a taxidermist for professional advice.

You can make a frame and attached the skin to the frame.
Hi! I saw one displayed recently with two curtain tie back brackets, a branch resting on the brackets and the hide draped over the branch. It looked really nice, displayed that way. A thick dowel would also work with two coat hooks, I would think. Good luck and stay safe!
Could you use the command hook velcro stickers? https://amzn.to/2DPJcK3 You'd need a lot of them - but it would damage wall or hide.
