No More Weeding for Me
I got tired of having to weed and add stone to our walkways from the patio to the pool, to the basement and to the yard.
I removed all the gravel and well...here are the results.
This pathway went to our yard. As you can see there are weeds coming thru gravel that was laid down.
Again another weed filled area. Not to mention that I move a lot of stuff in and out of the basement using a hand truck. Hand trucks do not do well on gravel.
These stones (made them myself) are also very hard on the feet as we go back and forth to the pool.
This modification gives a beach atmosphere to going to and from the pool.
Remove all the gravel and lay down 4 X 4's. Level them up to the existing surfaces. Add weed block before laying down the decking boards.
We can now walk to the pool, basement steps and yard without any problems. No weeds to be seen.
