Here's some instructions from Krylon:

I painted my resin chairs years ago and they did last a bit longer. Eventually, they faded again. Make sure to use the correct paint like that listed in previous post. Good luck.
You should be able to paint them with any spray paint that is suitable for plastic.
Hi Sandy, I've had good success using spray paint that says it works well on plastic to paint outdoor items. It's difficult to remember but very important, to apply several "light" coats rather than one heavy coat when spray painting.
Sandy: maybe this will help

Krylon and Rustoleum make good paint for plastic patio furniture. Make a paint box (refrigerator box) in your garage and have at it.
I would agree with Patty! Check out Home Depot or Lowes for plastic spray paint!!
Yes you can spray paint them...but I find that they do crack chip and peel in a few 4-5 years. I did use plastic friendly spray paint and stored the chairs outside under my deck during winter.
Hi! Clean them really well, first and then use an exterior spray paint meant for vinyl or plastic. Rustoleum and Krylon paint both make them. It's usually cheaper at a discount store like Walmart. Good luck and stay safe!
Spray painting your resin chairs will totally give them a new look! You can check out my outdoor spray painted chairs: https://momhomeguide.com/spray-painted-outdoor-chairs/
Hi Sandy: You sure can! I have used Rustoleum and Krylon spray paints for my outdoor furniture with great success. Just be sure it says "For Plastic" on the label. Clean the chairs really well and rinse them off completely so that there are no oils on them. Let dry in the sun, upside down, and then turn them right side up after the bottoms are dry, to be sure that there is no water standing in the crevices. Then spray your favourite colours and you should be good to go.
Betsy, what are you cleaning the chairs with, soap/bleach/vinegar please give me a hint.. They have been out on the porch for years now, spray painted them blue last year and like all is saying they are pealing.....do i need to do anything since they already have spray paint on them? YOU ALL ARE SO HELPFUL.....THANKS AGAIN, STAY SAFE.....

You can spray paint them but it won't last forever.
You can spray paint them and seal them, but eventually they will fade over time when out in the elements.
