Mix Dry Ingredients

Place baking soda, citric acid, pink Himalayan salt, and kaolin clay in a large bowl. Whisk together dry ingredients.

Melt Coconut Oil

Melt the coconut oil in the microwave. Pour over dry ingredients. Whisk well.

Finish Making Bath Bombs

Add polysorbate 80, essential oils, mica, and body safe glitter. Mix well with gloved hands.  Spray 4 to 5 times with rubbing alcohol and mix. Keep spraying a few sprays at a time and mixing until the mixture holds it shape when you squeeze it.

Press Into Mold

Press the bath bomb mixture firmly into the mold. Let sit for 24 hours before unmolding.

Make Whipped Soap

To make the soap frosting recipe, add whipped soap base and glycerin to a bowl. Mix on low until fluffy, about 1 minute.

Add the essential oils and arrowroot powder. Mix on low for 30 seconds. Cut melt and pour soap into 1 inch cubes. Microwave for 30 seconds until melted. Let cool for 1 minute.

Add melted soap, mica, and body safe glitter to the bath whip. Mix on high for one minute. It should form a stiff peak.

If it not get stiff, add more arrowroot powder.

Pipe the Frosting

Place the whipped soap into a piping bag. Use a large tip to frost the top of the cupcake.

Let dry for 2-3 days. The foaming bath whip frosting recipe will harden in two days.

About how many bombs does this recipe make and how many $ per bomb do you estimate based on the ingredients listed? So cute!!!

It makes 8 mini bath bombs. You can double it for more or to make larger bath bombs. Each one should be $1-2 in actual ingredients used, but you'll have a lot of ingredients leftover.
