Drinkware?
Since I’m updated my kitchen I want to get new drinkware. What are some your favorites? And do you use Tervis or other insulated drinkware in addition. to glass?

Peggy: I usually use glass... but had really been impressed with insulated drink ware (that I bought at Tuesday Morning.). Even here in Texas, my drinks stay colder outside.
Hello.
Personally I prefer glass drinkware to plastic. But that’s a personal choice.
I have had personal issues with Tervis Tumblers but perhaps place them in the dishwasher might cause the failure. They tend to fail by slightly discolor and fog up. I’m not sure I would recommend them unless you want to exclusively hand wash them.
So many of favorite travel mugs are stainless steel water bottles preferring that to plastic and still sometimes too- depending on the design-require handwashing I have both a large Bubba Tumblr and I also use Contigo push button snap drink insulated stainless steel bottles for travel purposes in the car.
I like the Tuesday Morning insulated drink ware too. But I use glass. I love Ikea glasses.
I love glassware! There are so many shapes and sizes and styles! My favourite glasses are short with thin rims and I'm pretty sure I got them at Crate and Barrel. They were inexpensive and are perfect for everyday use.
If budget is an issue I've been really impressed with the Dollar Stores line up of glassware!
I use only glass, open stock.
Dollar Tree has a good selection of glassware, that being said.
It may sound funny, but my favorite drink is homemade watermelon limeade or lemonade in a stemmed wine glass, it makes drinks feel classy even though there is no alcohol in them. Just dresses up the everyday. Hubby likes the mason jars with a handle.
I bought mason jars with handles and love them - Kroger has them in their stores
I love my tervis especially for the backyard!
I never had a lot of cabinet space ... that being said I always tend to like glasses that fit inside of each other. Narrow bottom wider tops. So 2 usually takes up the space for one. IKEA usually has a nice selection, good quality, inexpensive.
If you prefer to use the dishwasher on a regular basis as opposed to hand washing glasses, measure the spaces between the tines in your racks, and purchase glasses with a circumference that fits in the rows either around the tines, or in between them. Otherwise there will be lost space when loading, and/or the glasses will not stay upright.
we use insulated glasses but they will not last very long if you put them in the dishwasher it is best to hand wash them - dollar tree has nice looking glassware and you can't beat the price
Often lower priced glassware breaks and shatters more readily and does not hold up as well with hot water, as compared with higher end brand-name lines.
I love mugs because you grab the handle instead of regular glasses. Some of my favorite I got at dollar tree they are large and heavy.
As for Tervis type, I have only a couple for on the porch and my nightstand.
Another staple is my larger mugs with wide opening. My husband loves milkshakes and I do smoothies in those by using a stick blender.
I use mainly insulated glasses with a straw in the top. All the others sit in the cabinet and are rarely used.
Hi! I buy pretty glasses when I see them, usually on sale. I can usually find pretty plastic for outdoors in gorgeous colors this time of year. If you wanted something insulated, Yeti travel mugs are pricey, but a good investment. I gave my daughter one as a gift and she still loves it a year later. I do most of my shopping online the past few months, but, I have been able to get some new glasses for outdoors with my grocery delivery for around 50 cents each in a pretty blue. Good luck and stay safe!
Hello.
I only have Glasses , Mugs and China Cups & Saucers. with the Odd Thermo glass and holder. Buy in Sets if you want to go that way or maybe Harlequin Set!
